Nice campground. Sites pretty level and well maintained. Hubby enjoyed the clean showers but wished they would have kept them open after the summer crowds were gone. We had intended to spend the winter here but thso many farrow cats that would fight under the trailer at night and peed all over the lawnchairs..
Great campground! Josephine (the owner) walked me to the campsites to take my pick and along the way talked to guests, picked up any piece of trash she saw, and cleaned the bathrooms on the way back. Always love it when I see owners of businesses that actually care. Quiet at night and a fun atmosphere during the day, this is where you want to stay if you're in the area.
Wonderful river access and great hosts. Lies on a magical section of Coffee Creek. There's plenty of day hikes nearby and a cool store with food and beers nearby too. This is not a luxury resort but more of a taste of the Alps and their ruggedness in some ways which I like! The far end of the campground is really nice once you drive into it.
First time staying here, we will be back! The hosts were great, very knowledgeable about the area and super helpful! We stayed in campsite 24 which was close to the creek, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, and swam in Coffee Creek and the Trinity River. My six year old son and dog had a blast too! So glad we found this place!!
I stayed there throughout the summer and a bit in the winter. Willy and his wife Josephine are extremely nice and very helpful camp host, they really take a lot of care to insure the safety and care of their guests. The showers are hot and the restrooms are clean.
