Can’t say enough about how amazing this place i! Great food, awesome campsite and very family and dog friendly. Staff is so passionate about what they do and goes above and beyond. River access is so nice to spend a quiet day on the river or you can hang at the pool or pub area. Perfect weekend getaway from the Bay Area and if you’re looking to get married here it is epic.
We came late at night and loved the late night RV drop-in service! We found a good spot to back into, and had a great rest of the night's sleep. The resort looks lovely, the main office cabin looks like Gruncle Stan's hut from the Gravity Falls cartoon series - a perfect combination together with Confusion Hill right across the street!
We'll try to come back for a longer stay next time, so we can also make good use of all the amenities incl. the Pub!
This was our first time camping here. We had a prime rv spot and my sister had a studio lodge room. It was one of the quietest campgrounds we have been too and our rv spot was large backing up to the river valley.
Absolutley beautiful spot and the studio room was adorable and very well appointed. The store staff were all so helpful and very friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. We didnt make it to the pub because we had our dogs. We will be back!
Needed an RV site on the way to Oregon. Let me just say, Amanda, the young lady taking our call was awesome!! We had tried to book online and the website said no available spots. We called and bingo! No problemo!!. The spot was nearly level, associated w a 30 amp post, water and sewer. Redwoods are all around. The store closes at 8 so plenty of time to grab essentials. The pub closes at 930. After the grueling Highway 1 road trip from San Fran, which almost cost me my marriage, it was such a welcome rest. And Amanda was the perfect host! Enjoy!
We were there only one night in November, so take this with several grains of salt. It took a long time for the propane heater to warm our cabin on a chilly night. The kitchenette is behind closed doors outside. But it's nestled right among glorious redwood trees. It's rustic and beautiful. The entrance is right across the 101 from Confusion Hill. 🙂
