Came here on a whim and sure glad we did, we were on a long exploration road trip from Minnesota and wanted a more secluded campsite, there were people but plenty of room for peace!
The road back seems sketch but just keep going!
Was here in Oct 2023 for Grasshopper Adventure Series Usal Lost Coast Hopper. Beautiful campground, quite remote and not easy to get in but the views of the ocean are breathtaking.
Great beach ruined by squatters. The "full time" residents think they own this public beach and behave accordingly. Bring your gun. I'm not kidding.
The road in is rough but possible with a car. But do not go on the beach unless you know how to drive in sand. Otherwise you will be the dinner show as you dig your vehicle out.
Beautiful amazing beach camping. Hard road in but so worth it. Stayed in our 4Runner with roof top tent. We will definitely be back!
