This place constantly gets bad reviews due to customer service.. We've been coming here for 5 years and love it.. I think what I like best about this Campground is most of the sites are all the same but yet different.. it's like they took a big section of coastal Forest and cut out a campground even though I may have a neighbor within 30 ft of me I can't see them.. very clean, level, full hookups has awesome Wi-Fi.. can't say we've ever had a bad experience will continue to come down here

We stayed here for the winter as full-time RVers with two kids. The location is great, the grounds are beautiful, but they charge you a fee for everything little thing. Long term they had a meter for additional electric charge. Coin operated showers. Fees for kids, pets, etc. Their nightly fees also change depending on time of year. Staff was meh.

This RV site is a best location that we were planned to go! It was easy to get to everywhere between Mendocino and Fort Bragg. The tent site is big and very private and Quiet, and also has portable toilets. The RV camping ground has clean and large bathroom and showers. We are so pleased to find this place when all the other places were full. (All the States parks camping ground were full nearby). The owners need to set up their website, so people can find this place. I finally call them as my last choice to book the tent site. Now a days, make a phone call is not that people like to do.

It's a really nice campground all in all, the problem is all the nickel and diming they do. I've stayed in literally hundreds of campgrounds, this one is nice, but all the extra fees that they tack on are just annoying. Not that it cost more, although it absolutely does, it's just when you think you're going to pay one amount based on their stated rate but then there's so many little things they tack on it's more of a mental annoyance than anything else.

Mid-December stay.

Pros:

RV sites are neatly divided by well kept bushes. Nice hot water for the showers. Laundry facility is nice. Property is simple but pretty. Big sport field. Cleaning stations for the fishermen/crabbers. Propane available on site.

Cons: quarters and lots of them needed for washer/dryer. Quarters needed for showers too.

Suggestion: a little fence to hide the equipment behind the office would make a huge difference in the appearance of the resort.

Overall we like this resort. Not loaded with amenities but well maintained and quiet.
