This place is wonderful. The mountain bike trails run right out of the campground, and there is a well maintained skill park as well. Pit toilets, garbage cans, no water. Verizon cell phone service. About 15 minutes into Shelter Cove. Love it!

Nice quiet place in the woods. Beautiful surroundings. Not much to do except mountain bike (GREAT spot for that!). Road in was bumpy but totally doable in a regular sedan. There is no water, just vault toilets and bear-proof garbage bins. Sites were maintained and wept clean of debris so we felt comfortable building a fire.

Nice quiet and secluded. Be careful driving the roads coming in have steep hills and there is a 4 mile dirt road going to the campground which is only wide enough for one car in some spots. No water, no electricity. Quiet time starts at 10 pm.

Nice secluded campground. Rough road for about 30 minutes but we did it with a Toyota Corolla with low clearance and it was fine, simply driving slowly.

We arrived there early but they were many available spots even later on. Bear country so make sure to be in your tent by sunset, as people are very quiet from that time. No running water. Clean vault toilets. Mosquitoes (many). Very quiet. 8 dollars per night.
