This park is still very disrupted by Hurricane Ian damage and debris.

Destroyed, uninhabitable homes scatter the park. There is still broken glass and debris in the ground at some locations.

There was only one men’s washroom and one woman’s washroom (not together) at separate areas of the park.

There were gates at the facility, but they were always open- so I question security at this location.

Staff went above and beyond to try to accommodate. In staff’s defense they don’t have much to work with as so much of this property is in need of repair.

Location is great, just needs alot of work to bring it back.

This is an RV Resort Park with spots for RV's and park models for rent. This is not a permanent resident park. The maximum stay allowed is 6 months. Any stay over 30 days requires a background check. There are no age restrictions for renters or RV's. The amenities are numerous. Everything has been updated and/or replaced after Hurricane Ian in 2023. The pool area is quite large and includes a hot tub, a sprinkle pad for kids, a billards room, and a fitness center. Because many people come back year after year, there are endless activities organized and run by volunteers. You can choose to participate with a group or enjoy an activity on your own. The best beaches in the country are 10 miles away. There are plenty of cultural activities in the area, music venues, art, theater, shopping, restaurants, parks, biking, hiking & kayaking. There's even a baseball stadium, home of the Atlanta Braves spring training! To find a rental in the park you can call the office, call Encore or go on Airbnb.

Thousand trail’s members beware!!

To start I can’t say enough good things about the amenities, residents, pool, playground, and pickleball courts!!! Really great people!

But to be straight forward, this is a glorified trailer park. Definitely not what we expected an RV resort to be. North end of the resort around the pond is really beautiful and where I wish we could have been.

Unfortunately we were in E088 which had a construction site behind and the septic treatment beside our camper, which with 4 young kids was not good at all. According to our neighbors, this site is mainly used by Thousands Trails members, which we are, and as such are unable to choose specific sites with our membership. So if you are a member, do NOT let them put you in E088.

Besides that and a guy who worked in the office who wasn’t very kind and didn’t seem to know what was going on, we may come back because the amenities are so nice, just might book it outside of Thousand Trails so we can pick a better site.

Everyone is super friendly, they seem to enjoy there jobs. Beautiful grounds and the seasonal people are super friendly as well. Lots of activities every day. The only issue I had was the sun wasn't on my lot the whole day but luckily no one was beside us so we still did ok.
