Water off for most of the day because they are working on new places. If you're paying for a spot, they shouldn't be shutting water off on people. Don't think I will return to this KOA.
Took the kids here on New Years weekend as it was also my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the larger cabins for the weekend that we wanted to stay so we only stayed for one day. We stayed in a small cabin that doesn't have a bathroom. Although, it does have a queen size bed and a bunk bed. There was 5 of us so it was little crammed but wasn't bad at all for a night. They do have bathrooms and showers on site so not having one in the cabin was okay for the night. We made it work! There was also a swing on our front porch that was so nice.. we made good use of it. There was also an in ground bbq pit out front so you could bbq or do what we did and make smores before going to bed. For what the cabin was and being so small it was cozy. It did have air conditioning and it also had heat. There were 2 differnet electrical outlets so that was great. Before renting we knew very little of what accommodations this KOA had and what we were getting ourselves into, but it turned out better than I had expected. This KOA is centrally located right by pretty much everything like McDonald's, Wal-Mart, and Publix just to name a few. We brought our golf cart which pretty much everyone out there has one. They had a clubhouse where the kids were able to get ice cream and milkshakes as well as play mini golf. They did have a pool but it was just too cold to swim. We did venture out a little as there was two different flea markets close by. I would definitely recommend this KOA and we will definitely be going back to visit. This was very close to home so it was a mini get away for us and we couldn't have asked for a better time!
It's a KOA super resort. Two pools, hot tub, on site pub, laundry, showers and a golf course. Friendly staff. It is a little more pricey than other KOA parks. We enjoyed our stay
We didn’t feel welcomed with our kids. The playground is broken and closed. The mini-golf was flooded and closed. The kids pool is kept much colder than the adult pool. The hot tub is for adults only (which isn’t advertised). Our towels were stolen from the hot-tub and the staff was unhelpful. The maintenance person said things get stolen all the time. Basic tent sites are tiny so you really need the “deluxe sites”, which are nice. They include a nice fire pit and a “covered charging station”. You can access a little shed to do dishes, but the garbage didn’t get picked up for a while so it was a pretty big pile…
