We have traveled throughout the southern states and Alaska. This is by far the worst RV park ever. Our site was sooo narrow we couldn't open our slide without bonking the people in the adjacent site who were trying to have dinner at their picnic table. As a result we had to manage with our slide closed. A bit uncomfortable and awkward for us. The normal checkout time is 11:00, but if you were parked on the grass you had to leave before 10:00 because that's when the sprinklers came on. Really, why not just change the sprinkler timing. They practically wrote a book on the family history. Sorry but no one has the time to read all that. A simple sentence that it's been family owned for the past 1000 years is all anyone cares about.
Literally an oasis in the desert. It's a lovely place with lots of trees and grass. The sites are very well spaced and maintained and the park host was friendly and helpful.
It is very close to the freeway, but still the noise level tollerable.
It's closer to freeway, clean, everything is covered in snow. They plowed through the pull through. We hooked up really easy. Was a great stay.
We stayed here overnight and it was a nice park. It seemed well kept and the space we got was plenty big enough.
My only gripe was that the sewer was pretty far away. We hooked up the water and electric, but later realized the sewer was all the way up by the front door of the truck. But we just dumped in the morning and it worked out. We'd stay again!
Appreciate a level place to park with hook ups on a long road trip! A few things surprised me: I may have been the only non resident, I realize it’s off season a bit (end of Oct), I was just not expecting as many residents for a park that offers electricity only October-May. I was not expecting the park to be so dark. Was glad there were a few street lights not far away to help navigate. Fair bit of traffic on the road and trains going by, but no horn blowing - all in all it was a muffled constant sound.
Overall, I would stay again mainly because of location and the electric hook up. It was a safe, quiet park-as a solo female traveler that is important to me.
