It is the first campground you reach as you drive on the west side of Alcova on Lakeshore Drive.
It would of been much better if the bathroom was clean but other than that it was good. We made the best of it. And the People at OB2 next to us didn't have leashes on thier dogs.
Great when we went in July. Clean park, well kept and bathrooms weren't messy. Plenty of room to swim, fish, float, layout and have a 35 person family picnic. Great day at the lake.
Accomodations at this campground are wonderful! There are multiple bathrooms close to the campground, there is a covered picnic area in most spots, and there is a grated firepit. My only complaints are
1. The camping spots are really close together and there isnt much greenery to provide any privacy.
2. There wasn't an area convenient to get in for swimming besides the dock. The rocks are slippery / sharp getting in the water.
Small campground and on a mountain. We had spot 32 which was far from the water and on top of the hill. Not at all a flat campground like you would imagine when looking at the maps. The spot itself was pretty un level as we had our two eight tires on 4 blocks and the rv still couldn’t get it level on auto. The wind was blowing about 20 steady with gusts to 30 and we felt them all as there wasn’t any protection. On a calm day the views are amazing from up there.
Due to the announced 50mph gusts that were coming we called the office and they had no problem letting us switch to a non reserved spot lower down the hill. Didn’t charge us more and even changed it in their system. We moved to spot 14 which was wonderfully protected from the wind and much more level.
They did a great job with all the boat docks and access to the ramp.
