Great BLM stop. Easy access with a slightly bumpy road once you get into the campground, but absolutely doable with our 40 ft rig and 20 ft tow vehicle.
There are about 5 designated spots with fire rings, trash cans and picnic tables plus 3 tent spots. By 7 pm all were full on a Thursday night. There were more spots to pull over though for just a night along the fence in the back and near the front boat launch. Pit toliets for those who need them.
Very quiet and peaceful. Lots of bugs. Would stay here again for sure.
Free campsites down a pretty bumpy road. A small car can make the drive though- even after having rained off and on for days. The sites are dog friendly. A put toilet is located deep into the camp. Picnic tables are scattered throughout. Lots of mosquitos, but very peaceful and scenic. Great spot for tent camping.
Great BLM area! It’s free, quiet, picnic tables throughout the park and a one restroom is available. There’s a river running along the camp grounds too which is nice. I went early October, temps got down to 32 degrees Fahrenheit so there were no mesquito during that time.
Beautiful campground in the middle of nowhere!
We just stayed one night and even though it rained we loved it! About 6 or 7 tent sites but other places you can park and stay if needed.
One bathroom that is very well kept.
Nice to be close to the river and the views are gorgeous! At night the sky was almost crystal clear.
Wonderful gem! So glad we found it, we needed a place to stop close to I-80, but without breaking the bank and being packed in like sardines! This place was absolutely perfect! Ample space between sites, and can you beat a free campsite? Just note NO electricity and only pit toilets.
Oh! And the stars at night are absolutely phenomenal!
