This campground has very nice owners and employees. Here is my honest review.
1. This is Wyoming and we have seen worse and better in this state.
2. Electricity is very good.
3. Plenty of laundry machines even with 2 washers not working. Be careful though floor is not stable.
4. Water pressure where we were was so bad I couldn't brush my teeth or flush the toilet. I did report this. We fixed that problem by filling our water tank and and using or pump.
5. The wagon could really be cute with a paint job, but it is functional for people who need a night stay.
6. There is a fire pit with wood to use, if you are not afraid to burn the place down because it is so dry. Not the owners fault this is a dessert.
7. Don't think you should mix long term people with campers.
8. Bathrooms need upgrade, when you can't use your camper because of water pressure you need a bigger better bathroom.
Overall we felt safe.
I’m really tossed on this review… it’s a great stop
for a place to dump, refresh water, laundry etc. Lynn at the front desk was super helpful and nice. The whole place was clean and neat. I would say that this park is not really convenient to anywhere close. Also no place to really walk a dog because they are surrounded by private property. Some confusing items:
We used the laundry room and there was only 4 dryers and 5 washers available to use. The rest were broken and we were told they have been broken since last year. The laundry building itself was falling apart and the floor was buckling. The owners are building a greenhouse and I feel like they could be doing more to improve the place and add some ambiance to the parking lot of RV’s. Maybe a tree or two??
Nice spacious lots for 5th wheel. Friendly staff. Decent price. Plenty of places to walk dogs. Near main road.
Nice little RV and primitive camping site. Out on the plains so it's sort of windy. Nice views surrounding the area.
There is a bathouse with restrooms and a laundry room which is nice. It is sort of rough around the edges, but overall, it was nice.
Lynn, the property manager, is over the top fantastic, extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area.
Lynn and her husband were polite and professional. We stayed overnight in our van in their "tent" section that offered electric and water for $31.95/night. As others mentioned, several washers and dryers were broken. We did 2 loads of wash but our clothes were still dirty (dirt on pants from hiking was still visible). Bathhouse had 1 shower stall for men and women and were clean but definitely dated. Overall it served our purpose of a place to crash after hiking in Brigder-Teton but function of wash machine was questionable.
