Cool place. Relaxing environment. Many open camp spots w everything but waste
This is a nice little campground for the money. It was $15 per night with electric hookups. You pay with cash in an envelope, which none were available, so we used a baggie with our information. The weeds were very overgrown and made it a pain to set up, but overall it got the job done.
Have been coming here every year for a week at a time. For the $15 electric fee it is reasonable. Last week the place was over run with prairie dogs and weeds were terrible! Mosquitos were horrible (some larger than sage grouse I swear!)as well. The place needs a camp host or grounds keeper to maintain it! I am sure in fairness the extremely wet spring conditions have contributed to all of the above but the place needs some attention!
There are pay envelopes on the boat dock bathroom now and sites seemed mowed and maintained so maybe there's been an upgrade. I came on Labor Day weekend and was able to get a tent spot with no neighbors, it was very chill.
We were here 2 years ago and it was so nice.
It seems to not be taken care of now.
Overgrown with weeds where it's difficult to even back in a site or access electrical box.
It's too bad because it could be a lovely spot.
