Great little beach, rocks under the surf so wear water shoes or be careful.

The location is gorgeous and quiet as far as other campers (yes, there is road traffic noise); everyone seems to be there to just have a chill time. No bubba bros blasting their music into the wee hours. Great spot to go kayaking or surfing. Also noted as a whale watching location (tho I didn't see any). Less expensive than any hotel on the island and for the convenience next to the water, worth the price. First come first so get their early to reserve your spot (4pm on a Friday worked for me). There are port-a-johns on site but no showers and no electricity hookup. I mean, it's not a CAMP campsite. It's a roadside stop where you're allowed to sleep. Bring what you'll need!

Best swimming on Maui I swear!! Very gentle surf, nice sand and plenty of trees for each group. It can get windy but it doesn't really affect the shoreline swimming. Snorkeling here wasn't great.

This beach was so calm and peaceful. I wish we had more time to visit and actually enjoy the water. Even just sitting on the sand and looking out over the water and neighboring islands was more than enough to quiet the mind and soul.

Hawaiian beaches are renowned for their stunning beauty, with soft golden sands and crystal-clear waters. Visitors often praise the vibrant marine life for snorkeling and the picturesque sunsets. Keep in mind that some beaches may be busier than others, so it's worth researching to find the perfect balance of scenery and tranquility based on your preferences.
