Excellent owners! Place is kept clean and neat, everyone is very friendly. Kids have great time playing - tubing in river. Keep our 5th wheel here all year, and will return as much as possible. Pets are allowed. As long as leashed. Beautiful scenery, A++++++++ in my book!!
The Old Corundum Millsite Campground,,, what a wonderful experience. Pat Murphy was the perfect host/owner. The RV hook-up was flawless, the neighbors were friendly, the river was clean with many fishing. The bathroom/showers are spotless, limitless hot water. Just what's needed after long day.
An absolute hidden gem for camping or glamping in the mountains of North Carolina. A quiet peaceful existence among the most friendliest folks you'll find anywhere around. Campground is managed by a consummate professional with many years in the hospitality industry. Safe travels!
Pat was very helpful from taking our reservation request to helping us out with local info. The park is on the rustic side...
just like we like it. Some complain about the regulars but you won't find a nicer group of folks. We really liked our stay and are thinking of Franklin area for possible retirement locale. Thanks Pat.
Old Corundum mill site campground is our favorite place to spend our summers.
We have been coming here since 1989. It is like an extension of our family! Friendly and wonderful management along with a quiet environment. Fellow campers are great friends from all over the USA. Franklin, NC has so much to offer those who visit here!!
