The host make this place!! Well they make it so much better. The greet you with smiles and helpful details about the area. They even give you printed list of the best places to visit. They show you to your spot and help in any way they can. The grounds are clean with a river ruining behind it. There are stairs that go to the river where my husband and son spent a few mornings and evening fishing. Concrete roads so the kids can ride bikes. There arent many kids at all there. Mostly long term retired couples but enjoyed the sense of community and quiet weekends without roudy weekenders since we are full time travelers. There is plenty close by to do. Definitely recommend this place for those with or without kids!!!

Great location. But sites are not maintained. They do not refresh the gravel. When it rained we had mud puddles around our site. They are aggressively anti- dog. They told us they don’t put a trash can at the dog area on purpose to punish dog owners. Bizarre.

Great campground really peaceful and easy to get to. The guy was wonderful we ended up staying and extra day and it was no trouble at all. Will definitely go back!

Very well kept grounds. Pretty level gravel site. Staff was very friendly and helpful with surrounding attractions. There were roads on either side of the park, but not really to back. Train track on the E side but it only has a sightseeing trip once a day. Would recommend and we are going back.

We really enjoyed our week-long stay here. Bryan is one of the kindness, most thoughtful camp hosts/managers we've ever encountered. And he's an excellent communicator, too.

We enjoyed being riverside and feeling like we were right in the middle of the mountains.

The bath house was, as my husband put it, "The best I've ever seen at a campground."

Nearby towns and cities had all of the stores, etc. we needed.

We have both AT&T and T-Mobile hot spots, as we are full-timers who work from the road. T-Mobile didn't work for us at all. But the camp has WiFi (that actually works! So many camps advertise WiFi but don't deliver.)

We pulled in on a tough day (for us) that also happened to be a major holiday (New Year's Eve). Bryan was understanding, helpful, and kind that day and throughout our stay - literally looking out for us until our departure by reminding us to check a particular road to see if it was closed due to a winter storm. I know I'm repeating myself, but his kindness really matters so it's worth repeating.
