Silver Creek Campground in Mill Spring, NC is nestled among the Blue Ridge Mountains. Conveniently located near Chimney Rock State Park, Green River Cove Tubing, Bradley Falls, Tyron Equestrian Center, and Polk County Recreation Complex. We have a swimming pool, a fishing pond, a playground, and a clean Bathhouse, all of which come with your stay here at Silver Creek.
Such a beautiful piece of property tucked away in NC. They have cabins you can rent and tent sites. There is a pool and fishing pond on site. We like staying here because of the close proximity to Green River and it’s tubing. I really feel like this place has the potential to be amazing, but lacks some features that could make it more enjoyable for the kids. A playground would be a nice touch as it seems if the kids aren’t at the pool they don’t have much entertainment.

I used the pool. $7 per adult not staying at the campground.
Nice setting. Bathrooms are very close with access to a shower. Vending machine, well stocked on pool deck.
Mostly permanent residents here. Lots of loud kids & barking dogs. Couldn't find our reservation to start. Never told us you need a code to use bathrooms. You have to call either of 2 #'s to get code. One was disconnected & left VM & text for the other. Never got a call or text back! I called back later, got the 6 digit code & the code box was utterly ridiculous. 4 circles with 3 #'s in each circle, no directions how to use. Really??? All that just to go to the john!! I was told I drove too fast thru the campground but it was OK that the staff flew thru in a golfcart several times. Very disappointing except for the wooded views.
New owners are making great improvements including an entirely new section of sites. The free s’mores kit and bundle of firewood is a nice personal touch. We will be back and would highly recommend everyone check them out!
