Wonderful!!! Bathrooms are recently remodeled and clean. The creek is PERFECT for kids to play in. It’s dark enough at night to see and enjoy the stars! 10/10 will return!

Basically a gravel lot with a creek running behind it. There was a 10 foot embankment to the creek so there was no playing in it for us.

The guy running it was kind but I could hear every word said in the camp 8 feet from my bed. The bathrooms were clean and nice showers but it was a bit of a trek up the hill for an old woman.

It would be perfect for someone just looking for a place to sleep. Lots of rafting guides nearby and Bryson City 25 minutes away. I left a day early.

Campground yes, resort absolutely not. This is a gravel parking lot with hookups and a bathhouse (which was very clean but not spacious showers). There are no amenities not even an office or anyone there to check-in with. No picnic table no trash can or dumpster. You have to get down on your hands and knees to connec your fresh water as it's underground. It served its purpose as a place to park while we explored the area but it is not as pictured or advertised.

Fantastic place! Just to be clear, all hookups for your RV, level lots, and then the creek. My niece and nephew are staying there and I visited them for 4 or 5 days. The surroundings are beautiful, the only thing I didn't want was the rain. We made due and I had a blast. If you go be sure to go into town and do the train ride. It was several hours round trip but worth it. Love the place, I sold my 5th wheel but would definitely recommend it for any of the bigger RVs as they have very nice showers (even with hookups it's easier to go to the showers especially when you have 5 people lol) and there is a convenience store just outside the park.

This is a fantastic option for tent or RV camping anywhere near the Nantahala Gorge.

If you are headed to fish the Nantahala, ride the rapids, visit the NOC or anything else in the area, this place is in a great location!

One thing that was really nice is that I had very good cellular signal at this campground, even though I was only minutes from my fishing spot.

The entire campground looked brand new. The roads and RV spots were gravel, and each spot had a picnic table. Most of the spots had RV electrical and water hookups and even fire rings.

My spot was right next to the creek, so I slept really well with the sound of the water in the background.

My trip was very last minute, but the owner/manager answered the phone even though I was calling after normal business hours.

He told me to meet with the Camp Host when I arrived, and I hopped in the truck and headed to the campground. She was super nice, and I was able to park, set up my rooftop tent and get settled in.

It was very easy to find, very clean and the bath house was even heated. Everything looked brand new in the bath house, and it had several stalls and showers.

I actually texted a buddy of mine that often goes on fishing trips just like this one with me and told him that I found a new campground for our next trip. I was really impressed!
