A Gold Panning paradise made perfect for beginners. The owners are very friendly and helpful, family oriented and if looking for a christian environment this would be it. They have a few prospectors on the property to teach the beginner and they are also willing to help you know how to tell between mica and gold.
The down side, am still giving it a 5 stars, is that to get to the river to pan is a wee bit dangerous. One wrong mistake and you can get injured, even if you are in perfect shape and condition.
Three ways for panning: 1. River 2. Table 3. Take it home or order online
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner/Super are available for the hungry panner 😁
This is a magical place. We have always enjoyed our time here. This year we rented the cabin. It was so cute and cozy. The staff here are some.of the most hospitable and kindest people we have ever met. Very accommodating. The Miner's Diner is great for a quick breakfast or lunch...food is really good. Not only did we find a little Gold, but we also got to unplug from everyday life and enjoy each other. We will definitely return again for another adventure❤
We had the best week of our trip!
Great people
Not a ton of gold, but a huge amount of crystals to make up for it.
Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
It felt like we went to visit family.
My family and I had an awesome time learning how to pan for gold from the owners who have been mining here for generations! They were very friendly and the food at the diner was amazing!! We will definitely be back!
I was staying at LDMA Vein Mountain and not getting much gold, so my group and I went to Lucky Strike to try our luck. Some of us ran high bankers(our own), and we ran material about a ton to a ton and a half at $40 each. The gold was pretty good. It was somewhat fine with some pickers. The experience was very good. The staff was very friendly and made you feel at home. Some in our group did gem bags and were very pleased with what they found. I highly recommend Lucky Strike. If I am in that area again, I would stay in their campground.
