We stayed in their premium 'park model' cabin for a weekend. Gotta say, we were super disappointed.

We discovered a cockroach our last night at bedtime, so gross! As we were packing up, we saw more. We captured a couple and brought them to the office at checkout. The staff did comp us one night of stay. We think they knew this was clearly an existing issue.

This Cabin is very delapidated. We were simply there to relax and hang with friends who have one of the seasonal sites. We were okay until the discovery. We had to throw away a lot of our stuff as we nervously packed up.

Stay at your own risk.

1st timers & we Had some fun here even if it did rain a bit. We enjoyed the ADULTS ONLY hot tub while kids enjoyed the pool. The staff was amazing. We will definitely go back!! The owner said he dreamed up this area and planted all the trees 50 years ago in hopes of having a shady area for campers. He succeeded!

My family and I stayed at this campground last month and the accommodations were great. We rented the cabin and found it to be simple yet all of our needs were met. Its a great place for the family they had plenty of playgrounds and events for the family. The campground was quiet and cozy. The reason I only gave 3 stars was because of the condition of the lake. We purposely chose this location so that we could fish and the kids could play on the beach. The beach was very small and not well kept. Algae everywhere made it impossible to fish or enjoy the shore line at all. We chose to drive to Lake Michigan and still enjoyed ourselves. Included is the view from our cabin.

Great family campground just outside of Decatur. Some of the back in sites have odd hookups requiring an extension cord, or extra hose. Pull through FHU sites are perfect. They have an on-site restaurant, medium sized pool, golf cart rental and sales.

We went camping for the first time here, rented cabin C49 and ended buying a seasonal here. The management and staff here are amazing. If something unforeseen happens, they will do whatever (within reason) they can to make it right. Love, love, love this place.
