Jellystone was fantastic! We stayed in a family cabin that was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. The people who work there are welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a great variety of activities that appealed to our whole family (kids ages 10-17). The grounds are clean and well kept. We rented a golf cart to drive around the property which made it fun and easy to get around. It's outside the city but close enough for a weekend away. Highly recommend!

Best place to go for all your different types of campers! We stayed in a grain silo and it was amazing. Much better than a regular hotel room and cheaper. The staff was friendly and attentive and got us checked in and on our way to our unit in just a few minutes!

To be fair we went in the off season so may be why we experienced what we did. I read a review that stated the place was run by teenagers and thought no way, that was absolutely my experience as well. The timed activities sometimes were earlier than announced in the app, later than announced, or did not happen at all. I waited an hour for the mobile dance party at your campsite, only for it not to happen. The food at Pirates Cove is too expensive to not be good at all. How do you mess up nachos??? There was only one person in the games area, so we could only play one of the games that required a person to supervise. We chose not to spend extra on the golf cart, but honestly did not need it because we were able to drive or walk anywhere we wanted in the park. But those who had them looked like they enjoyed riding on them. We brought our air fryer to make our own food in cabin, which we did for two meals a day. We even ordered groceries to be delivered, so that for sure is a plus. The cabin had a full size fridge so that really helped. All that being said, we still had a great time and I would go again with different expectations, knowing what I know now. The food trucks were good, our cabin was nice and cozy, the activities we did were fun, all and all it was a fun staycation for our family.

Although it rained we really enjoyed our short vacation (before school started back up). My 13 year old daughter actually enjoyed it too. We missed out on a few activities because of the rain, like the maze & Laser tag.

Instructions say being your own bags for corn hole, but that is for corn hole at your cabin. The store has corn hole bags for the public corn hole boards. Just ask.

We stayed in rustic cabin 8.

Cabin Pros:

Large room space

Plenty of counter space (we took a griddle to reheat/cook food on)

Lots of under counter space

"Courtyard" area behind the cabin

Restroom maximizes wall space

Cabin Cons:

Lighting is dim (for me)

light switches galore (some don't function and are in odd spaces)

Chairs & table are iron & heavy

No drawers

No hangers

These cabins are near the highway so lots of traffic noise. We were ok with it... just be aware.

We came during the "off" season (February). We had a red carpet site. Probably the BEST site we have ever stayed in. Huge, nice fire pit. Lots on the weekends for kids to do. BUT.....you can't just send your kids to do crafts or anything WITHOUT a parent. You should be able to sign a waiver that allows them to. I had just had surgery and sitting there for the simplest crafts wasn't easy. You are allowed to drop them off for a movie night. So, don't really get the difference. Food trucks were awesome. Nice staff. The list of amenities is endless. CONS: Valet garbage pick up would be nice. They need WAY MORE dog receptacles. There is nowhere to put pet waste. We threw ours in a garbage can close to our site that didn't get emptied for the entire 8 days we were there. The freeway noise is pretty loud. And we were far back. All in all, GREAT PARK. Our kids are begging to go back already.
