Office was closed but trails were open. Everything is well maintained and welcoming. Bring bug repellent as their were lots of flies and a small gnat that would bite at the sock line.

Can’t ask for a better, clean and quiet place in the mountain that close to ABQ with about 7/8 electric sites (#6 and 7 are the best). The drinking water spigots are also around the campsite with couple of easy to moderate hiking trails.

T-Mobile cell service works great here and they even provide a dump station on your way out where majority of NM state parks don’t have, our first visit here but definitely will come back

This park is very quiet, forested, and serene. Someone other than a camper must have laid out the plans for sites as it was impossible for me to back into my space going the direction of the one-way road. Since no one was coming along the road, I went the wrong way to the site and had no problem backing the 5th wheel in. It's a pleasant place and we love it.
