Oasis State Park is set among cottonwood trees, shifting sand dunes, and a small fishing lake. Although fishing is the park’s main draw, it also has several hiking trails, a peaceful and shady campground, and an abundance of birds.
From Clovis NM, take 60/84 west 1 mile to NM 467, then south 15 miles to Oasis rd. Turn right (west) and go 2 miles to park entrance. From Portales NM, take US 70 north 1/2 mile to NM 467 then north 6 miles to Oasis rd. Turn left (west) and go 2 miles to park entrance.
The heated bathrooms, showers, and toilets were amazing! Very clean restrooms and camp site. 👌
Great camping area, I overnight with a camper van and for just $18 you have access to electricity and water, besides de bathrooms. Very clean and organized. Self checkin and checkout.
