It started off ok. I took my family to fish. We stopped at the store, bought our passes, and the girl at the register said, "You can park anywhere that it doesn't say 'No Parking'!" So, we did. We parked and walked to the lake, set up our poles and chairs and sat down. Then some lady came over to tell us they were going to be partying behind us, but we were free to stay if we liked. We thanked her, then fished for about 45 minutes and some guy in a golf cart came and told us we couldn't fish where we were because of the party, which still hadn't started. By the time we carried everything back to our truck, we decided to just go home. We wasted over $50 for less than an hour of fishing. I guess we'll do our fishing elsewhere from now on.
A fine RV campground, especially for the price. The spots are pretty large, the place is clean and quiet. There is a free shuttle that takes you to the casino, where we ate at the very nice Embers Steak House. There are several lakes adjacent to the RV park that are fun to walk around and fishing is available. We would definitely stay here again
It worked out wonderful. Really nice concrete slabs for the RV. Half an hour to the balloon fiesta. We drove in in the morning and we're able to watch the balloons take off. The only negative is there is a train that goes through about 4:30 in the morning to get at 6:00ish.
