This campground was converted to a KOA in April of 2020. Although few upgrades have been made so far, many improvements are planned including upgrades to existing sites, Frisbee golf, etc. We were surprised how much vacancy there was during our Spring break stay. This modest campground has fantastic potential. The staff have been nothing but friendly and kind. If you want Wi-Fi at your campsite, there is a hefty charge per connected device and the speed is unimpressive. Fire ants were a recurring issue during our 4 night stay. The campground shares a fence with a cow pasture, but as there is a constant breeze from the East, we never noticed any unpleasant smells. We enjoyed watching the cows and visiting with the friendly donkeys. With a few upgrades, thus will be a fantastic family getaway.

I definitely enjoyed my recent 2-night stay at Moore Haven KOA. The campground managers were very down to earth and friendly folks! They made me and my dog Buddy feel welcome while we were on the road because of a recent hurricane. Although I didn't catch anything, I had a good time casting my fishing reel around one of the ponds. The sites and the park overall, all appeared to be well kept. The nightly rates were very fair too.

I will keep this RV Park in mind should I come to South FL again!
