Avoid this campground if at all possible. It is a gravel parking lot at best. We got all set up after the office guy directed us to exactly where we needed to park and had to move because the campground host behind us needed to park his truck on part of our site. No pool. Every building is very old and need of remodeling and repair. We had to run our electrical cord to a different site because the one on our site didn’t work. I would have graded this a -10 if that was available. By far the worst KOA if not the worst campground we have ever stayed at!
Meh. It was louder than a normal truck stop. Not worth $90. I was on site 1 we couldn’t even have a fire or grill if we tried there were bushes growing next to the fire pit. Also, if you come in late to your site people park EVERYWHERE. Good luck. The one positive note is that the bathrooms were clean.
Booked this KOA while traveling through town for 2 night/, after completing reservation I called to ask a few questions about our trailer that we pull. At no point did anyone tell me we would have to drop our trailer at the office of the KOA about a block away from the site. We had to do this because the spot they put us in was way too small with the trailer. Even without our trailer the spot is extremely small, we are literally right next door to our neighbors, no breathing room, I can hear every convo our neighbors have and every car that drives by the main road. Due to the small space they put us in we couldn’t even open our bedroom slides all the way which means our bed wasn’t as comfortable as it normally is due to not being able to slide them out all the way, we couldn’t slide them out because of the fence that is directly behind us at an angle which is preventing the slides to be opened all the way. Karen the manager at the front desk basically said because our trailer wasn’t on the reservation they couldn’t do anything about, didn’t matter that I called after to ask about the trailer!! They did try to move us spots but nothing was available. The only saving grace when we checked in after hours at night was 2 employees were there and actually tried to help the best they could. If they had not been here we would have NOT stayed at this KOA. In fact we will not stay at this KOA ever again. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay this is not it. If you’re looking to have space around you and not feel like you’re on top of your neighbors, this is not the place. A Walmart parking lot would have been better than staying here.
This is a very ordinary RV park, not to clean. The wifi is free but doesn't reach much of the campground. The manager is not very friendly. The organization of the site seams disorganized as they assigned me to a site not suitable for my RV, not changed in the laundry room, manager got me to wait 15. minutes for it with a very cold shoulder approach. Water was cut of during the day. The staff is very nice with customer, especially Colin who takes care of the maintenance on the site.
