Located 5 miles west of Hollandale off MS 12.
Overall beautiful park. Could use a little love however is it well maintained. Quite little place to listen to the sound of nature. Clean restrooms and nice place for a stroll.
My husband family has been going here since he was born... since 1964. Now we go with his Dad and Uncles, our kids and grandkids! So beautiful! If you've never been, you should definitely go! The staff are not just friendly and helpful but just like family!
This is a quaint little state park. Possibly the smallest I have ever been to. It has a small lake, small camping area, a small number of cabins, but it does have wonderful scenery. And thankfully the cabins had screened in porches since after dusk the mosquitoes were even worse than during the day. Yes they were bad during the day. At least mosquito spray worked during the day but that was it. After dusk forget it. But I did enjoy the porch when we needed it.
Decent cabins. They are perfect for 2-3 people. All you need to bring is food. Great areas to hunt within short driving distance. Bring a pole, Brush lake has plenty crappie and cats.
