Good RV park. I stayed here because I was driving the Natchez Trace and there’s no water in Jackson so this seemed like a safe place since it is on the north end of the reservoir. They have water, the park is clean and quiet…. But Brandy was the best part about the park. When I was checking in, another person at the park called to say that there was a stray dog. Brandy and I talked everyday about how we could help the dog, she posted about it on her social media, then I did, and I grew to really enjoy our multiple conversations. Thank you Brandy for being the heart and soul of the park. I wouldn’t have stayed as long as I did if you weren’t there!!! Below is a photo of Moonah, who was named by Westley, a really cool kid who stays at the park and helped me try to find Moonah’s owner. Sending you all lots of love!

We spent 2 nights while we were driving the Natchez Trace. We were in site N7, which we think is the best site in this camp ground. Sites N5 & N6 are similar. They are right on a canal. The occasional boat went slowly by, but typically it was just quiet as we sat and enjoyed the peace. There were several vehicles around, but we hardly saw another person (we were there for a weekend the end of September) There was a sign by the canal at our site DO NOT FEED THE ALLIGATORS. We never saw one. The only negative I have is the location of office wasn’t obvious when we drove in, so we drove around a loop looking for where our site was, but there were no site number notices at the end of each loop.We finally discovered the office is in the bathroom/laundry building thats on the left as you drive in. It would have really helped if the office location was on the paperwork sent after we booked. We have stayed at hundreds of campgrounds and RV parks, and we’ve never been where the office is not clearly indicated and the camper loops don’t indicate the site numbers in the loops.

This campground is fantastic! Very well manicured. The layout for RV spaces allowed plenty of room for our camper as well as being able to park our truck on the pad as well. The campground itself is absolutely beautiful. We feel very fortunate to have found this campground and would book again next time we’re in the area.

This place is so well kept. The lawn is mowed regularly and the long term residents keep their spaces clean. We very much enjoyed our stay here. It is right next to a beautiful lake, bring your fishing poles!
