We’ve always loved lake Lincoln. Grew up camping out there all the time. Definitely needs a lot of updates. Bathrooms need soap dispensers, needs new playground equipment cause that equipment has been there I know at least 32 years and now our babies need new and more stable equipment. The disc golf course definitely needs to be taken better care of, someone needs to come out and go through the whole course and trim some limbs, cut the paths you can barely walk through them anymore and it’s sad. I understand this is a state park and you are only allowed so much money, I know because as a teen at the age of 15, mine and my cousin’s parents had to get the approval to “donate paint” for my cousin and I to give the playground a little color by painting the merry go round and all but as a state park the state needs to get a better grip on things and have this place taking care of because it receives a lot of traffic with adults and children. The picnic tables in most spots are falling to pieces as well. Don’t get me wrong it’s still a good little place to camp, but alot of updates are well past needed for our children and us adults.
We had such a GREAT time here. We even left our awning open the entire time here.
The wind was perfect, the weather was perfect, and we stayed at site 48. Almost no neighbors.
Nights got really dark. But I'd definitely stay again.
No soap in the bathrooms, but they were nice. I let my son run around since there weren't many moving vehicles.
We absolutely loved the peace and quiet. Spacious spots. Some close to each other for families to enjoy.
It's a beautiful park. You have a view of the lake from just about any campsite. Campsites are close to each other. The playground needs updating. Enjoyed bike riding the hills. Had a great time there.
