We have been camping here for 3 days. We will be back! Love the hiking here & the chair my husband was able to use to hike for the first time in over 5 years. The park staff, manager & camp host are the best! This will be our campground to use for Mayo visits & to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Went Kayaking on small, man-made reservoir. Lots of dead trees still protruding from the water and a lot of algae in the water. Pretty place with lots of wildlife - I have seen geese, herons, egrets, eagles, turkeys, squirrels, rabbits and deer. Nice paths around the reservoir and through a meadow. Nice campground. Fun nature area and playgrounds for kids. Lots of picnic pavilions. There is a swimming beach area but lots of algae in water in August make it less appealing. Docks available for fishing and good boat launch with separate plastic launch pad for kayaks. Always a fair number of people there. There are also horse riding paths but we don't use them because we always have the dog.

The campsite is outstanding. The spaces are well kept and the surroundings are great if you enjoy the woods and shaded spots. There are some exceptional views in some of the areas.

There is plenty of fishing and lake activities for all ages. (Beach, kayak, swimming, etc)

The bathrooms and shower areas are excellent. Has a very home like private feel. My wife is not a kybo/port-a-potty restroom person and she really enjoyed the facilities. They are very well kept and cleaned.

The entire facility is totally well maintained. Family friendly with lots to do, nice playground and picnic facilities, boat ramp, swimming beach, hiking trails and firewood available on-site. The pads are gravel and a few are asphalt and pretty level. The campground hosts are fantastic and even have a small book library for younger readers. Shower and restroom facilities well attended and updated. An amazing Olmsted County Park, it's a gem.

Beautiful park with multiple fishing piers. It wasn't too crowded in my late October visit, and the fishing was pretty good. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in the area again.
