This is probably my favorite state first that we've been to this year. Great, challenging hiking trails with breathtaking views from the top.

This is an awesome state land park you have running water, at main sight, your camps are private. We felt very comfortable and safe thanks. And it was nice to see the horseback riders.

Open to dirt bikes two weekends a year (spring and fall) hosted by golden eagles motorcycle club. Great time on fun trails.

There are a great variety of horse trails there for every kind and every level of rider. Campground is primitive but very well kept. Lots of high lines to tie up your horses. Gorgeous scenery!

This place was great. We took a detour but ended up finding the loop like we had planned. The bluff views were some of the best of all the parks we've been to in SE MN. We ended up hiking down a logging road and that was crazy. There were huge ruts in the trail from the vehicles that hauled the trees. The path was narrow everywhere but it was walked on a lot so that helped. There were a few groups of deer and two eagles.
