It was at my favorite beach since I was a little. Has lots of updates. Water can be rough, 2 foot drop. Rainey day, but I sat in the grey, taking in the mist and negative ions. And Ocean smells. Lots of great seagulls! Clean bathrooms. Only bad thing is price to pay if you're not from ,MA. $45.00 for out of state! Outrageous!

What a beautiful beach here in Westport. I went in December so it was not busy. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting any time of year!

Huge beach, a bit rocky but we've had storms recently that have caused it to be rockier than usual. Large, well maintained parking lots, bathroom facilities (bathrooms are closed for the Winter season). Will have to revisit in the warmer weather!

We enjoyed a great time at this state recreation area! Definitely will visit again. So many nearby things to explore. Audubon sanctuary, Gooseberry Island, wineries. Lots of great biking, as the main route in has devoted bike lanes. Beach is rocky, but usable! We really enjoyed exploring this south shore gem.
