This was definitely a nice and quiet place to stay. all workers are nice besides management. owner comes off very rude and aggressive and is not willing to work with anyone. camping here in the past has been wonderful, but as of this year this place has gone downhill . . . please also keep an eye on your bill.
This is a very nice campground, ran and owned by people who take pride in their place. My family stayed here in July with our five campers. All of us were very satisfied and sorry we couldn't have stayed longer. The camp sites were nice and the bathrooms were as well. There is a bit of a hill going up from the office and swimming pool to where most of the camp sites are. But it seems to keep the place well separated and wasn't a problem. The owners were very nice and helpful and the grounds were well maintained. Would definitely camp here again.
Our scout troop stayed over a weekend so that we could hike in Mount Greylock State Park. We stayed in Group site A which was perfect for us. Water is on-site which was great. Electricty on site as well, although we did not need/use it. Everything was clean and neat - great restrooms with outdoor sink for washing dishes and only a 5 minute walk. Firewood was conveniently delivered to the site. Staff was very pleasant and helpful both prior to and during our visit.
We did not have time to use many of the facilities since we had much to do on our own. Campground was very quiet.
I would go back wth my family some time for sure.
A great experience! The check in staff was friendly and the owner personally came by to drop off our firewood and remind us that we can call her at any hours of the day - I felt safe and comfortable, which was an initial concern of mine as I haven’t gone camping in a little while. Campsite was clean, just the right size, and exactly what I had in mind. The bathrooms were very clean and even the little trailer bathroom nearest to my far site had hot water to wash hands! I went in the fall so there weren’t that many people, so we had a lovely quiet time. I’d definitely come again.
Great campground. I’ve stayed in a lot of campgrounds growing up camping, and then doing some as an adult. The property is attractive with nicely wooded sites and plenty of space between. The owners are friendly and very accommodating. We needed a last minute reservation after a motorcycle breakdown and missing the reservation window at a state campground. They were open late into the fall and got us taken care of easily. Lastly, the showers/bathrooms are nice which is pretty important if you’re not in a trailer. Overall 5 stars and I’d go back.
