We have gone to this campground for 3 years. It is very clear that ownership changed and there has been significant changes and not for the better. They used to have a beer list to purchase in store, no longer, they used to do breakfast on Sunday, no longer, no paddles boats, no laser tag, no movies at the pavalion, they had a sitting area to watch movies in the rec hall, gone but dvd player still there and no dvds available. The toilets in bathroom didn't flush properly, poor water pressure. Many seasonal sites empty. Some kind of security person driving in golf cart with little blue light, not comforting, and have no idea how long that person stays but definitely not long into evening. The cops had to come while we were there for a domestic problem. Reading other reviews, it is clear new "corporate" owners are not interested in having campers return with there response to reviews. "We’re sorry to hear about your experience, but the feedback is appreciated. We’ll look into this." or "pass along to the team".This is pretty much the response no matter the review or issue. No type of incentive to have repeat campers return again. And, most other campgrounds we visit do not require us to purchase wifi, this isn't new to the new owners but still should be included in cost, since now so high to camp there. Looks like a 4th year at this campground will not happen, like so many others.

Do not recommend. Terrible, narrow roads and poorly marked spots. We reserved site 8, which is advertised as fitting a 45ft RV. Ours is 37ft and we barely got it in the spot. Very, very tight turn radius around a bunch of trees, on a steep incline. The site was not level at all and we had to go out and purchase a second leveling kit to get our trailer level during our stay. We lost water pressure multiple times, including when our kids were in the bath house taking showers and the water went out completely.

We stayed for 3 nights, with 2 kids and loved our cabin. The mattresses were a bit tough but with sleeping bags and blow up mattress we made it work. The service folks were so kind, there's laundry onsite and a great catch and release pond for the kids. You are 10min from waterfall hike, and the best ice cream and animal farm. The cabin site had fire pit and parking space available for our truck. Also fridge and stove in cabin. We enjoyed the site so much and there was even a pool and playground!

I’ve been coming here with friends and family every Labor Day weekend for the last 20 years. I’m not sure if it’s the new owner/management, but our trip this year was terrible. 20 minute walk to a bathroom. Barely any activities compared to before. No kitchen anymore to order food. Hardly any snacks in the store. They got rid of the arcade/game room. No more Sunday breakfasts or Monday (Labor Day) Buffet. After a poor experience with the new owners last year, they promised things would be better this year, but it’s actually worse. We were going to book again for next year like we always do, hoping for a better experience one more time, but the payment they’re asking for up front is outrageous. They’re charging more, yet providing far less. It’s not even worth the money and it’s clear that they don’t want yearly/repeat customers anymore. This was a yearly trip I used to look forward to every year, but with the way it is now, we won’t be coming back.

We normally love this place and have been staying here for over 20 years and now the third owner and were very disappointed. I will start by saying the staff is always pleasant but the amenities are horrible. No food served in the kitchen….no breakfast buffet…no grilled items at the carnival.Always loved the kitchen during bingo. At least have some food trucks. Bathroom near pool was closed and no temporary toilets nearby. GROSS. No arcade. No laser tag. We always stay in the same cabin and were happy with the upgraded smoke/carbon monoxide detectors that did not buzz all weekend. We tried to understand this transition of owners as last year was also lacking. Expected more this year as price increased and got less. Our site was dangerously unleveled. Tree roots were so exposed from erosion and there was no fill leveling lot. We paid a resort fee this year and did not have a resort experience. We are attached to this place and still hope it will improve. The cost increase is ridiculous and the new deposit policy is unreasonable. Blue Water Management has not made Prospect Mountain better.
