We just got back from 9 nights at this campground and we enjoyed it. The only issue we had is they could use to clean the actual toilets and showers, some water, cleaner and wiping them down would go a long way. But otherwise everyone was very helpful and nice at check in to show us were we were going. The site we had was very nice and private with trees in between sites and decent size for my 24 foot camper.
Enjoyed staying in a yurt in Autumn. Close to attractions. Neighbors were quiet. Restrooms were adequate. Only negative was the constant roar of traffic on Highway 6. I imagine it would be much worse in the summer.
Stayed labor day weekend with our family. The park had alot of great sites, all big and private. We were at B81 which was nice since we were on a little rotary, it was safe for my daughter to ride her scooter around it. We also had a nice dish station by us which not all bathrooms had and no neighbors to our right since it was a corner site. The playground was great and the staff was super friendly. The location is perfect for exploring the Cape. Only downfall is bathrooms. They weren't the best dcr campground bathrooms I've used, old and dirty. But it wasn't the biggest deal. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to going again.
Just went camping around the 4th of july at the state park, and it was awesome. Extremely quiet. The campsite was very wooded. They had an incredible playground for the kids. Bathrooms are clean. Staff was great and very friendly. Trails were nice to hike. If you don't mind not having hookups, I highly recommend it.
