We had the best time here! It’s the perfect camp ground. Clean camping spots, shower/toilet in small house, close to little river canyon & Desoto, and perfect weather. What more could you want from camping. We will definitely be back.
Very glad I found this campsite, nice dispersed sites with most having fire rings and picnic tables. Also has a small creek that runs through the property. Bathhouse was also great and larger on the inside than it looks! Given the opportunity, we will camp here again!
Booked our stay through the Dyrt app. My email misplaced our confrimation so I reached out directly to Giorgio and he was quick to respond with the confrimation of our stay. He was very accommodating and helped us navigate the property so we could pick our site. We were in a minivan but were able to navigate the grounds pretty easily. The property is gorgeous! We booked a deluxe site which had a very clean table and fire pit which was stocked w wood already. There are a lot of sites, some more secluded than others. However, there's so many of them it's easy to get an entire space to yourself. We were able to let our dog free roam and my kids loved the water access and trails. The bathhouse was clean and maintained as well, but you'll probably want to bring your own toilet accommodations if you don't plan on staying at the front of the property.
I reserved Deluxe campsite with table and campfire ring. I arrived there and the campground was almost full. So we went to the host to inform him where would we find the campsite that has table and campfire ring. He pointed us to the empty campsite (last one) and he went to find the campfire ring. He brought it to us. Thank you, the host! The campground was nice and quiet. The tiny bathroom was so cute!
I had a great stay at Little River Adventure Company ... a quick one night stay on Saturday and Sunday before Christmas. The owners were away for the holidays, but Ricardo and his Fox Terrier Momo were great hosts. They even led me on a guided tour on some forest service roads through the Little River Nature Preserve. On Sunday I took a ride to Little River Falls and along the rim of Little River Canyon, then into Canyon Mouth Park. The area is such a hidden gem!
