We spent this Labor Day weekend at camping Minooka Park in our RV. One of our friends suggested it. We are from neighboring Autauga County and found the park to be very nice. The walking trail around the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. The entire park was family friendly. While we didn't have an ATV to enjoy the trails we did enjoy fishing in the lake, hiking and use of the RV park's full hook-ups. The staff was super friendly and the campground was clean. If I could make any suggestions for improvements to the park it would only be to add a play area near the RV park for children and possible convert one of the bathrooms to a bath/shower house. We have a small RV and while it does have an on board shower/tub we prefer to use the site facilities when we go camping. I feel that it would also be helpful for tent or campers w/o showers after a long dirty ATV ride. Other than that we loved our stay. The campground was quite and we loved the fact we could let our young daughter play and ride her bicycle and scooter without her getting out of our sight. Thanks to the staff for their warm smiles and hospitality!!

I've been here a couple of times with the family and it's great. We like walking around the water. It's a bit rugged for most strollers but doable with a jogging stroller if you have a really little one, though a lot of kids could easily walk/run it. It's beautiful and we didn't pay a thing. The bathrooms next to the parking are super clean. There is a pavilion, an area to grill and swings. The guy that works the gate is friendly and happy to answer any questions.

Great little fishing and hiking. Our family loves it! Can't wait to camp here. It is definitely a home away from home kinda place.

Very nice park. Campground has large sites with concrete pads. Playground, restrooms, and picnic areas are all very nice and clean.

I love walking around the pond here. The grounds are always kept up and staff is friendly... It tucked away just far enough that you really can feel a calm and peaceful vibe while soaking in the beautiful scenery of nature.
