About Campground

Cypress Landing RV Park is a family-oriented, locally-owned RV park that sits on the shores of beautiful Gantt Lake in South Alabama. We are located on Hwy 29 about 12 miles from Andalusia. The lake is approximately 2,700 acres in size with 21 miles of shoreline. Families and visitors of all varieties gravitate to our RV park on beautiful Gantt lake. Water sports enthusiasts will enjoy skiing, swimming, jet skiing and boating on its waters, while fishermen will appreciate catching shellcrackers, bream and bass. During the winter, duck hunters can experience incredible hunts on the lake.

Our mild year-round climate attracts both short and extended stay visitors. We welcome pets as well and have a dog park for them to run unleashed. Come and pay us a visit, away from the crowds, but still close to town and convenient to the many attractions on the Gulf Coast. Our RV Resort offers top quality amenities and beautiful natural surroundings. Join and see for yourself!

August 2023: We had to evacuate from our RV park in Crystal River Florida because of Hurricane Idalia. I remembered how much I loved this park when we stayed back in November so we decided to head that way. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer! It's so quiet and peaceful. The lake is beautiful! The bathrooms, showers and laundry room are clean.

Thank you Cypress Landing staff for being so kind in a stressful time for us. We will definitely be back!

November 2022: We stayed one night on our way to Florida. Out of all the RV parks we have stayed at from Washington State to here, this was my favorite. Staff was very friendly. The park is very clean. Right next to a beautiful lake. There are a few docks and a boat launch.

I definitely want to go back and spend some more time there.

Awesome hospitality…. Everyone on staff we dealt with was kind, professional and knowledgeable. We held my retirement reception after 22 years an Alabama State Trooper at “The Barn” on location and it turned out awesome. The accommodations were perfect. Thank you to Brody.

This was our second time camping here at Cypress Landing RV Park. We decided to come here for a few reasons: first, it is quiet, and second, it has a place where our dogs can run. We arrived after it had rained quite a bit, and the roads were quite slippery and muddy, which we usually wouldn't mind, but slipping in mud is no fun when walking dogs. We were informed, however, that the campground is under new ownership and that paving the roads is the first big project that will be underway. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay and booked another for a few weeks later.

I look forward to our next trip.
