Located 3 miles West of Lamar on Hwy 50.
Just stopped on the way through CO and when I walked into the office someone was getting what looked like their eyebrows done. The spots need tending to and the hook ups are definitely older. Couldn't get the water to run without leaking so only turned it on to shower. The mens bathroom was under repair and the womens only half of the stalls/showers worked. Everyone was very nice, just wasn't what I was expecting.
This place is a work in progress.needs some TLC but the price is right the grass is green and showers are hot and clean . If your picky and complain a lot take your silver spoon else where. This place reminds me of good ole camping trips with good ole people. Much love y'all I'm the guy hitchhiking to Nevada with my dog
Stopped on the way out to Colorado with my horse. Very clean stalls and pens. Caretaker checked my horse’s water personally several times even in a wheelchair. Did not use other facilities than campsite but what I saw was clean. Will stay again for sure
Nice clean barn for horses, open on each end, so good air flow. Right off the highway which is easy access but it is noisy from traffic.
It looks like this was a nice place at some point in the past, but a lot of work needs to be done. The pool was empty and the trash was full. We stayed here for one night in Late July 2023 and most of the RVs there seemed to be long term residents. I am not against people living i campers, but some of these campers needed some serious work. Our spot was near the "horse hotel" and the RV park is also surrounded by cattle feed lots, the flies and odor were horrible!
On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, and the price was great. I think the people running the place are just in over their heads. Except for the pool and trash, none of the negatives were the fault of the people running the park.
