This campsite is 30 minutes away from the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument and only a few minutes from a good sized town. At the same time it feels remote and relaxing

The sites are nice and shaded. The bathrooms are kept clean. The host is responsive if needed. All in all a good spot for tent camping

The campground is generally quiet with the exception of recreational trucks and trailers going up and down the dirt road.

Great campground, the location is fantastic since its around 10min to Woodland Park. Its a clean campground, pretty spaced out, and theres also cute cows nearby! Clean water and clean bathrooms on site.

Wow I can not get over how great of a experience I had here. The scenery it’s self was beautiful but the hospitality was just phenomenal. I was greeted so warmly by the host, I had all the information I needed and more given to me as soon as I arrived. The host also informed us of all of the local hiking trails, which is right down my alley because I am a professional runner. My husband & I fished for 2 days straight. The fish just loved us. The best apart about the whole trip was how clean the bathroom was. There was always so much toilet paper stocked up, it was so clean and smelled so fresh. I can’t believe how clean it was. The host was absolutely a delight. I cannot wait to come back here to fish. 10/10!

Most likely the best campground I have been too. The host is awesome! You can buy wood here at a price that is better than in town. Wild chipmunks run free and the grounds are very clean. Bathrooms are spotless and the smell is low, due to the cleaning the host does. Did I forget to mention, the host is also in law enforcement, so the noise level and safety is top notch. Plus the view is great!
