You’ve been camping before but not like this. The rules are no fires, and leave no trace, easy peezy. The view is marvelous! We went car camping and had an absolute blast! Dan is a saint. Thank you Dan!!!!!
Thanks Dan! We had a nice little flat spot to put our tent. There were trees that provided some privacy too. We didn’t even hear the other two campers near by. Perfect place to land after we hit the cottonwood hot springs.
Car camped here over Labor Day weekend. There were a couple of other car campers but not full by any means. The property was clean, quiet and has great views! Thanks so much Dan for allowing us to stay on your beautiful piece of property, for free!

We stayed 3 days. Dan's son Christian came and kicked us out on day 4 basically yelling at us and muttering to himself. Stay here at your own risk. We moved down to BLM once he kicked us out. Fwiw we have a '22 ranger and brand new wolf pup trailer. We were just hiking 14ers in the area not planning to be the next squatters. Not sure why they have "free camping" when they seem extremely annoyed by anyone's presence.
Treat this place as if you're in sleeper mode. Not the worth the bother imo.
Sidenote- if you have dogs be careful. Their dogs roam the property off leash and are a bit nippy.
