Awesome place to stay overnight or long term. Feels like home. I like the way the owner Hayden comes out to meet and greet everyone that checks in. Him and everyone else in the park and the town folk are good down to earth people that are very welcoming. Park is kept picked up and clean just like the bathrooms and showers. They clean on a followed schedule. I was at total peace here. I will definitely stay here again and again. Hayden thank you for your hospitality.

This place was very interesting. It was nothing but an overnight hit and run for us. The campground is sparce. There is one bathroom, unisex. 1 shower, outside with some wooden walls and doors. There is a very modern vending machine inside a shed and am ice machine. There is a picnic area with overhead cover and some built in charcoal grills in the front of the park. Across the street is a city park well stocked with playground equipment for kids. I believe there were about a dozen full hook-up sites which were easy to access. Our site functioned normally and there was plenty of room. No picnic table and the park is in the middle of a neighborhood that seemed to be less than half occupied. The roads were unpaved and the town had an abandoned feel to it. The site served its purpose for us on our travels. There was no staff on site and payment was left in a drop box with a blank envelope (provided). The main takeaway I have from this campground is the sheer volume of mosquitos when I got out to pay and hook up. I have not been attacked by that many mosquitos since I was slogging through the swamps of

Camp LeJeune, North Carolina the summer. There was no staying outside for any length of time other than what was necessary. I don't know how anyone would use that shower without being eaten alive. I don't know if this is a seasonal thing for Genoa but it was insane. My recommendation is this place is fine for a break from driving stop over but not much more. We camped at Genoa RV Park in a Motorhome.
