Watched the sunset here after a long day of driving and hiking. It was the perfect place to go and relax. We were stunned to stumble upon the gardens and pavilion. Parking is impossible for non-locals, but worth the hunt.

A Refreshing Oasis in the Heart of Denver 🌳🏞️

I recently visited City Park in Denver, conveniently behind the Science Museum. I chose to explore this urban oasis on a pleasant Wednesday morning and was delighted by the experience. Entry to the park is free. 💦

The park's well-maintained grounds were evident as I strolled through. The freshly cut grass and the serene lake with its captivating fountain were highlights of my visit. Seeing numerous parents enjoying quality time with their children added to the park's vibrant atmosphere. ☺️

One of the standout features of City Park is its abundant tree cover. These majestic trees provide ample shade during the scorching summer months, making it a perfect spot to escape the heat and enjoy fresh, oxygen-rich air, rejuvenating both body and mind. 🍃

Overall, my visit was delightful. City Park offers many amenities, including a playground for kids, picnic tables for gatherings, a serene lake for relaxation, and plenty of benches to sit and soak in the surroundings. 🧺

Parking at City Park is stress-free, with ample space, ensuring your visit starts on the right foot.

In conclusion, City Park in Denver is a gem of an exceptionally well-maintained place. It's an ideal spot for a day out with family, a peaceful solo stroll, or even a picnic with friends. I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a refreshing escape in the city's heart. 😊

In my neighborhood, there is a lack of quality parks. I typically drive about 10 minutes to reach the city park, which is my preferred place for strolls with my canine companions. I can easily rack up my step count while enjoying the picturesque Lake views. Convenient parking is a definite advantage, although the scarcity of trash cans means you’ll have to keep hold of your doggy waste bags until you come across one.

The Museum of Science and Nature in City Park is truly amazing. So big and on New years, with limited time, we were only able to do the third floor, but we saw the ice age exhibit, the dinosaurs, and the Egyptian mummies. We were 7 in our party, and it was great and so informative.

We will be back soon to see the 2nd and 1st floor with our years pass.
