Our spot was very nice. Extra shade for those really hot days. Bathrooms weren’t bad. Tons of stuff for the kids to do. They loved the paddle boards and the slip and slide. However the lake was very dirty and sea weed all of the place made for a hard time to go swimming. We did pay for miniature gold ahead of time and went to go play around 8:30 and was told they couldn’t let us because the close at 9 and they would need the golf supplies back. They told us they opened at 9am the next day. Kids went there at 10 and was told they weren’t open for another 45 min. We were packing up to leave so none of us got to play and still paid for it. I will probably look for a different campground to go to next year.

Lakeview Family Campground is the best campground we have stayed at so far. This was our first summer with a camper, so we have only been to 5 other campgrounds. We stayed Labor Day weekend and absolutely loved it. It is alcohol free and very quiet. The staff was very friendly to us. The showers are large and clean. The bathrooms were always clean. Almost all sites are shaded and plenty big. They have lots of docks to fish off. My kids caught bass and bluegill all day. Largest and cleanest beach and swim area of any campground we have been to. The play ground equipment looks new and well taken care of. The free access to boats, kayaks, and canoes makes it easy to enjoy the lake. We will definitely be back.

Update: We just got done camping here for the second time. Wanted to thank the owners and staff for the lunch on Sunday. Had a great time again even thought the weather was bad. See you next year.

Lakeview is the perfect place for a family camping trip. The campsites are all nice and shady with water and electricity. There's a playground near the beach in a nice shady spot. The beach is perfect for families. There's enough sand for the kids to play in, but there's a lot of grass that makes it easy to walk on and set up while staying cooler than just sand. They have boats, kayaks, tubes, and life jackets to use for free for campers! We love Lakeview!

Quiet camping experience during 2020 COVID season. Didn't see staff other than at check-in. The lake was clean & not far to walk to for our kids. Very shaded spots which was wonderful during this hot summer. The bathrooms were not impeccably clean or looked after. We did talk to the manager. The individual shower rooms were very appreciated. Seems they need to spray for mosquitoes. We would like to return if the campground remains viable following the UMC change. We felt safe & enjoyed our retreat.

Our first stay at this campground was very good. It was well taken care of with some new playground equipment. The beach was clean and groomed. The bathrooms we older but clean and stocked. We rented some fun bikes and they have watercraft that can be rented by the hour as well. They even have a fun waterslide! We were surprised on how much there was to do. We will be back to visit again
