Beautiful park. Always clean, and there's constant maintenance being done to make sure the facilities stay nice.

Awesome park that is maintained well.

Sites are electric only. There is septic & water station at the front of the park.

I’ve stayed here several times. The last time was almost a month.

Problems encountered-lack of respect of fellow campers especially over the weekends. Enforcement is lacking.

Tents campers were an issue. There should be separate tent camp area identified, unless the tent is located on the same site as an RV.

Dogs barking & whining, left tied to a tree when the campers leave the site during the day. Dogs left to roam free after dark.

This really is a hidden gem. I hope they continue developing the sites for full hook-up & devise a better system for monitoring campers behavior, especially over the weekends.

Campsites aren’t great but the experience is awesome! The Shiawasee River is right here, disc golf is right here, town is a bike ride away, there’s a beautiful variety of trees and nice play parks. The showers are decent also. Also, a fair price!!

We just stayed here and the sites and grounds were very clean. Beautiful river that looked great to kayak down and fish in, plus nice pavillions, play structures and awesome Disc golf course. They also have an incredible draining system. We were part of Saturday's HUGE overnight rainstorm and once it cleared up in the a.m. there were only small little puddles here and there on the road (very impressed). Easy bike ride into town (need to try out the Malt shop).

The only reason I took 1 star off was, even though there was hardly anyone there and we had plenty of space, some of the sites are pretty close together and there is not a picnic table on each site. However, with that said, if they are never full, you wouldn' thave to worry about space.

Photos 1-4 are in town and photos 5-6 are in the campground just a little down from our campsite (very calm river).
