I didn’t know what to rate it… I gave it half of what they already had, 4.40 got them a 2.2 or just 2.

I tried to get to this place from Kimball but with something like “

“.6 mile” to go, I saw nothing but dirt road ahead of me. It wasn’t that my vehicle and trailer were going to get dirty, all I saw/felt was washboard bumps and me and my van weren’t ready for that. Perhaps another time I’ll try it… or even better, maybe they’ll have it paved before my next visit 😮

Camping in true nature! Very peaceful setting, hiking trails, swimming, and the state bird- mosquitoes! Staff was very warm and friendly.

I have been here several times over about a 20 yr spand. Mary is wonderful the kids are a delight and a husband is very simple spunky dog as well!! Love the fact this site is in there back yard...an has a swimming pond!!! A river. Outdoor games. Over 60 acres!!!!! Just a wonderful wonderful time here. Oh and has a small store on site!!! Tent RV or cabin!!!! Or just swing by and visit.

Pretty land. Pond is nice. Managment was nice. Lots of red neck types around, nice enough people, kinda shady though. Place is run down. Bathrooms are very few, kinda thrown together and not maintained. They were out of toilet paper half the time and shit paper in the trash and on the floor. The outhouse smelt like death incarnate. Cabin was a glorified shed kinda just thrown together with very aged everything. Ac unit was barely working and had a broken knob. The beds were a curse from the gods... felt like it was made in the 1950s out of metal and hate. Like a mid evil torture device. Kids had fun, made some good memories. So overall got a 3.5. You can do better ruby, I believe in you nice folks! Take some pride in what you do!

Every fly, fruit fly, deer fly, and gnat in Michigan were also staying at this campground on this particular weekend. The bathrooms could have been cleaned way better and the out houses needed some sort of air fresheners/ bleach/ or lemon dish soap... anything! The little beach was pretty nice and the general store was pretty awesome. Plenty of hiking trails. Kids loved the playground.
