It's like stepping back in time. Very relaxing....close to Driftwood and the best hot fudge sundaes 👍🏼👍🏼😎❤️
Lived here near shady Shores about 60 yrs. Bruce Nevins is a nice guy and people return year after year
I've been going to Shady Shores my entire life and love it more each year. It is a week away from the world and it's troubles, spending time lazily by the lake or enjoying use of the tennis, basketball, and shuffleboard courts.
I spent one week here every summer for 20 years. Shady Shores is in no way glamorous, but I wouldn’t have traded those vacations for anything. Running around barefoot all day, living in your bathing suit, staying up until the lightning bugs came out - time slowed down while we were there, and it broke my heart every year when it was time to leave. This place is so special. There’s nothing to do except slow down and enjoy the company you’re with.
