This place is amazing. It is down by the lake where it's breezy and it has giant Willow trees so almost every spot has shade. The people who rent it are super friendly and the prices are very modest. It is dog friendly with a completely enclosed dog run so you can let your dogs run free and additionally it has a no dog section for people who don't like dogs.

The washrooms and pool area are immaculate and they have a nice little reasonably priced store as well. All in all I couldn't ask for a better place to camp. You may see some reviews online that talk about it being at the end of the airport runway. It is beside the airport but not at the end of the runway. We were here for 2 days and there were exactly 2 planes took off in that time. I can put up with that much noise for such a beautiful place.

It also has super good Wi-Fi. I was able to stream video on YouTube with no problem.

In this context, when we refer to "rooms," we're actually talking about the RV spaces within the campground, and we found our spot to be quite pleasant. Located at the back of the campground, our premium space was a testament to tranquility and comfort. Its level ground and well-tended lawn made it an ideal spot for our stay, providing both a sense of coziness and a convenient base for a camping experience.

The overall ambiance of the campground is nice and peaceful. The towering shade trees that provided shelter from the hot sun. The lush greenery created a picturesque setting, creating the sense of calm. The attention to maintaining the grounds was evident, and it added to the overall appeal of the campground.

I did notice that the campground accommodated some full-time residents. However, their presence was not disruptive, seamlessly blending into the calm RV park atmosphere.

Despite the nice ambiance of this green and cool retreat, there was one notable hiccup that tarnished the experience: the internet connection. The Wi-Fi provided was a frustrating source of irritation, oscillating between spotty and intermittent at best. In a world where staying connected has become essential, this was undoubtedly an annoying inconvenience that left me wanting a more reliable digital connection to the outside world.

To add a touch of humor to the experience, the men's restroom provided a quirky anecdote. A urinal was in one of the toilet stalls. (See pic) Despite the vexing Wi-Fi and the curious restroom, the overall experience was good.

Met expectations. Has its share of full-timers, guessing maybe 25% or so. Agree with other reviews that the airport proximity is not that big of a deal as there is not a ton of activity there. Grounds are well-kept, bathroom are nice and plenty of shade for pretty much every spot.

As I write this at just after 9 AM on a Monday morning, two gas-powered blowers have been going at it for 30+ minutes with no end in sight. One guy blew right outside our window 20 minutes ago and now another guy is blowing the exact same area. Can't wait to see how clean it is outside! Obviously maintenance is required, and there's no "good" time to do it without inconveniencing guests a little bit. But I think we as guest should start demanding that the parks we stay in transition to electric blowers/mowers/weed-eaters to moderate the noise. These gas-powered beasts are such an assault on the senses. So this comment is not really specific to Lakeside, but to all the RV park owners looking for a way to make their guests a bit happier.

Beautiful tall trees provide shade for most spots. We were grateful that they had a last minute spot for us mid-August. They have a variety of spots, partial to full hook-ups. I was, to be fair, confusing when we spoke: wanting a quieter spot, shady, and partial hookups. (There is a dump station if needed) We weren’t in the shade, though we were away from the street. However, the park is next to the airport, so there was plane activity until at least 11 pm. Oh well, not their fault, although they might have mentioned it. There are two fenced and grassy dog park areas, greatly appreciated. The whole property is well tended and landscaped, though they are doing some work on some sites. Cute vintage signs on the property next door and across the street. Clean bathrooms and showers, and though we didn’t use it, looked like a nice pool. Also a well stocked little store. There is a rustic walk along the still water of a river or lake that borders the property. Bad news, wish we had known: we left our door open with the screen door shut until after dark. When we went to shut it, there were literally hundreds of bugs on our screen door. We had to turn our all our interior lights, wait, then my husband braved it, beating the screen door and the door (they were on the door window), grabbing the door and closing it… a few got in, but we dealt with them. The scary part was those ones inside looked like huge mosquitos! So, a beautiful shady oasis, but beware those after dark bugs! They weren’t bad during the day, though bug spray is probably a good idea…

Beautiful location. Lots of trees which we love. They pack you and very tight and there’s an airport very nearby which is the only reason why I did four stars. Also, very near the bike path which are beautiful in Provo.
