We came to check this out to see if we should camp here later. I haven't tried the fishing yet, but the lake and camping areas are beautiful! We even saw a bald eagle flying around the lake. So cool!

We have been back every year. Just got back today. I love this reservoir. We brought some paddle boards and a couple kayaks. Great family fun!

Beautiful there. Went for ice fishing. Ice to thin for safety. Lucky only for us that the edges were too thin that broke when crossing. Next year!

Went 2 times this summer both times for different adventures. It was super clean on the beaches. And the ranger/DNR staff were extremely nice and knowledgeable.

I also used the outdoor bow range. It was really nice 3/4 of a mile hike while having 2 targets per station and 9 total stations. The DNR at the gate stated new equipment was arriving for the range that weekend which would have been 8/11/23 that the new 3d targets arrived. Old targets were pretty beat up but still a lot of fun

As of January 13th, about half the lake has ice. I would not recommend getting on it yet. The level has risen about 10 feet since late December. The boat ramp is covered in snow. West side fishing is good this time of year.

Our first visit here was great. We stayed in the Juniper loop that has water and electricity. There is also a free dump station that supports 2 RVs at the same time. The views and water were gorgeous. We'll definitely come back here.
