Gorgeous reservoir, trees all around, with some open meadows, plenty of ATV roads, good access for trailers or tent camping. Only one bathroom for the entire area but that’s just fine as well.
Just a perfect no cell service get away from the rest of the world.
Love this lake!! I go a few times every season. Great for fishing and riding atvs. Beautiful scenery and always find wildlife!!
No real infrastructure but the drive was beautiful. It takes about an hour and 20 minutes after you leave the road to get there. So have some patience with yourself. I drove in with a Mercedes and thoroughly enjoyed myself but I had to take it easy. It's nice getting away from the crowds that remind me of Liberty Park over on the Mirror Lake side. No cell service spotty at best at the lake, but the highway had some. So come prepared.
Took some youth fishing here. The drive in was rough, would have been better in an atv or side by side but the scenery was amazing.
Great location to camp next to water and catch a bunch of fish. If you can get on the water seems the fishing is much better. Dry flies in the evening pretty great, fun fishing, fish jumping everywhere.
