I've been horse riding here at a camp nearby since I could remember. I love the trails and there's always a chance to see wildlife. We actually saw a fawn a few weeks ago. Great place of history and there's no way to hate the place if you like the outdoors. I'd recommend for anyone to go at least once, as long as you're not scared of wanting to go back.

We visited the Kisatchie Falls area. Gorgeous scenery & lots of sand & tiny waterfalls. Great hiking experience! The only thing was allll the trash everywhere from people who obviously camped and did not clean up after themselves, which was very gross. Also, broken glass in the sand makes walking barefoot almost impossible.

Great place to run or hike the many trails. The pathway is wide enough but not too big. Amazing scenery and gorgeous views along the way. You have miles to hike or take a shorter path. I passed through from out of town and I highly enjoyed it. It was very and very humid so bring water and stay hydrated on the hot sunny days. I'll visit when I can.
